Clearspring Organic Brown Rice Miso is a rich tasting, fully-aged dark miso. As with any other miso, it can be used to make miso soup or can be added to soup dishes. It is also useful as a general-purpose seasoning in many dishes, particularly in Japanese cooking.
Brown Rice Miso is known in Japan as genmai miso, and is aged in cedarwood kegs. Clearspring is made using traditional methods and made with organic ingredients.
Brown Rice Miso is similar in taste to barley miso, but slightly sweeter.
