Lupin 'Dieta' is a high protein crop that produces large pods of nutritious seed that are like flattened beans. The plant grows 2-3ft tall and makes spikes of beautiful flowers before becoming seed pods. To cook the young tender lupin seeds (in the green pod stage) you can just shell them out and boil them for 20 minutes or until soft. If cooking with dried lupin seeds then you will need to soak them overnight, then boil in fresh water for 45 minutes or until tender (it depends how dry they were) Note that these are special edible lupins, you cannot eat seeds from normal decorative lupin plants. Also, people who are allergic to peanuts might possibly react to them (they contain similar compounds to peanuts) - so don't feed lupins to anyone with a peanut allergy.
